2026 SABPA Board Election

About this Event

In 2026, SEVEN (4) seats are open for election.

Eligibility:

 Active lifetime SABPA membership
 Integrity, leadership skills, and teamwork spirit
 On one of SABPA committees for at least one year
 Significant contribution and a long-term commitment to SABPA

Timeline:

 June 19, 2026: Announcement and nomination starts
 July 17, 2026: Nomination closes
 July 31, 2026: Deadline for nominees to submit one slide of self-introduction
 August 6, 2026: Online voting starts
 September 1, 2026: Online voting closes
 September 5, 2026: Announcement of Election outcome

Nomination process:

 Each active SABPA member can nominate candidate(s)
 Nominating member is responsible for ensuring that the candidate meets the above requirements and submits accurate biographic information to the Election Committee
 To nominate a candidate, please complete and send the 2026 SABPA BOD Nomination Form via email to election@sabpa.org, and copy the candidate as notification. Please note that the nomination closes on July 17, 2026
 An active lifetime SABPA member who is nominated by three other active members will become a candidate for a SABPA Board Director
 The Election Committee reserves the right to investigate the qualifications of each candidate and disqualify any candidate who submits
