Job Summary

The Sr. Sales Executive will lead commercial activities in Eastern Canada (Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec). In this position, you will contribute to our company goals and customer needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing key customers, increasing the assigned territory's customer base as well as developing customer relationships and providing all-around support to our customers. You will use existing knowledge and continue to build familiarity of drug product development pipelines, including cell and gene therapy, vaccines, antibodies, and small molecules.

• Manage commercial activities through customer-facing visits, presentations, phone calls and e-mails as appropriate in both English and French.
•  Work with the managers and executives to develop as well as execute territory sales plans.
•  Extend and develop relationships with existing and potential customers in both English and Canadian French.
•  Understand and communicate with customers technically in both English and Canadian French.
•  Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Technical Support, and other internal teams.
•  Attend tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events as necessary.
•  Travel within the territory 50-60% of the time.
•  Other projects or responsibilities may be required. 
•  Undertake other projects or responsibilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

• Bilingual in English and Canadian French.
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of related bioindustry experience developing, manufacturing, or using recombinant proteins.
• 1+ years of sales or customer-facing experience in the life science industry.
• Must reside within approximately 40 minutes driving distance of Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Broad technical understanding in the field of cell biology and molecular biology with the ability to describe the workflows related to antibody therapeutics as well as cell and gene therapeutics.

Salary Range: CAD $55,000 to $70,000  DOE + commission

Work Location: Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC – Remote (driving distance)
