This full-time programmer will develop web-based applications in life science fields. The developer will primarily use PHP, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and SQL, but should expect exposure to other technologies. Candidates should be good communicators, self-driven, highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and quality driven. This position can work remotely from home or in the office.

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of two (2+) or more years of relevant experience. Have experience in developing secure, robust, and reliable applications. Write clean, concise, and sustainable codes.
• Solid skills in client-side technologies: JavaScript/D3, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Ajax, bootstrap, and responsive design concepts.
• Extensive experience in server-side technologies: Linux, web server, PHP, and MySQL.
• Work experience in a life science environment is a plus
• Experience in directly communicating with customers is a plus
• Ability to work both within a team or independently as required
• Must be eligible for work in the US.
