About this Event

In 2025, 5 Seats Open for Election！

Eligibility:

• Active SABPA membership (lifetime membership? Confirm with BOD secretary)
• Integrity, leadership skills, and teamwork spirit
• On one of SABPA committees for at least one year
• Significant contribution and a long-term commitment to SABPA

Timeline:

June 20, 2025: Announcement and nomination start
July 18, 2025: Nomination closes
July 31, 2025: Deadline for nominees to submit one slide of self-introduction
August 6, 2025: Online voting starts
September 1st, 2025: Online voting closes
September 5th, 2025: Announcement of Election outcome

Nomination Process:

• Each active SABPA member can nominate candidate(s)
• The nominating member is responsible for ensuring that the candidate meets the above requirements and submits accurate biographic information to the Election Committee
• To nominate a candidate, please complete and send the 2025 SABPA BOD Nomination Form via email to election@sabpa.org, and copy the candidate as notification. Please note that the nomination closes on July 17, 2025
• An active lifetime SABPA member who is nominated by three other active members will become a candidate for a SABPA Board Director
• The Election Committee reserves the right to investigate the qualifications of each candidate and disqualify any candidate who submits false information
