2024 SABPA Board Election

About this Event

In 2024, FIVE (5) seats are open for election.

Eligibility:

• Active SABPA membership (lifetime membership? Confirm with BOD secretary)
• Integrity, leadership skills, and teamwork spirit
• On one of SABPA committees for at least one year
• Significant contribution and a long-term commitment to SABPA

Timeline:

• June 15^h, 2024: Announcement and nomination starts
• July 14^th, 2024: Nomination closes
• July 28^th, 2024: Deadline for nominees to submit one slide of self-introduction
• August 1^st, 2024: Online voting starts
• September 1^st, 2024: Online voting closes
• September 5^th, 2024: Announcement of Election outcome

Nomination process:

• Each SABPA member can nominate candidate(s)
• Nominating member is responsible for ensuring that the candidate meets the above requirements and submits accurate biographic information to the Election Committee
• To nominate a candidate, please complete and send the 2024 SABPA BOD Nomination Form via email to election@sabpa.org, and copy the candidate as notification. Please note that the nomination closes on July 14^h, 2024
• A SABPA member who is nominated by three other members will become a candidate for a SABPA Board Director
• The Election Committee reserves the right to investigate the qualifications of each candidate and disqualify any candidate who submits false information
